MEET THE MAKER

hello! awesome to meet all of you! my name is alaina, and i am a 20 year old college student from VA. i have always been crafty but i started crocheting around five years ago. i was teaching myself (failed tragically) and quit on and off for almost three years. more recently i have been starting sooo many projects that would excite me but never finished because they felt blah.

now with "grannys" i have a reason to finish projects i've started and it has kept me motivated to become my own boss. as i age, i begin to leave my interest in trendy fast fashion and move to a timeless, classic look. i love homeware (my prefrontal lobe is developing!!) and adding a handmade touch to the little things you use to every day in your kitchen or living area feels so cozy. 

crochet fits into my life as my one relaxation hobby. i am learning to enjoy running (wish me luck on my "21 miles on my 21st birthday") and overall fitness. i am currently in school for a bachelor's in business marketing with a concentration in entrepreneurship. my plans after college include piloting for Delta, God willing, and opening my store location! i am excited and relieved to have your support along this journey as it is only the beginning of the rest of my life!
